The Southern regions of the state are marked by their rolling hills and abundance of rivers offering charming villages and beautiful countryside.
Make sure to visit the town of Porter, located right on Lake Michigan containing miles of beaches, sand dunes, bogs, wetlands, woodland forests and farms. Also, stop by the Richmond area in the East-Central part of the state to hike on the Whitewater Gorge Trail and the Cardinal Greenway Trail, as well as enjoy the beauty of the Hayes Arboretum and Cope Environmental Center.
Indiana’s diverse regions and central U.S. location make it an area conducive to all sorts of sights and experiences; truly, one can never be sure what might happen at America’s crossroads.
