New Hampshire is home to people and places that make this state a great place to live and visit. This state has acquired several nick names-Granite State, for extensive granite formations and quarries; Mother of Rivers, for the number of rivers that originate here; White Mountain State, for the white mountain range and Switzerland of America, for the beautiful mountain scenery. There are beautiful beaches and parks, quaint villages, rolling farmland, lush greenery, and more than a little history to seek out in this state. You’ll also find good food and country inns. New Hampshire stands behind its motto “Live free or die” and it’s this very authenticity of the place that makes it a wonderful place to visit.
