Pier 39, a festival marketplace on San Francisco Bay, abounds with activities and performance possibilities for students. OREGON New Space Museum
The Evergreen Aviation Museum in Mc Minnville became the Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum in June when it opened Oregon’s largest space facility. The space museum complements two signature attractions—Howard Hughes’ Spruce Goose, the world’s largest wooden flying boat, and the SR-71 Blackbird, the fastest aircraft ever built.
TEXAS Big Splash in Grapevine
The new, north woods-themed Great Wolf Lodge in Grapevine, boasting one of the hotel chain’s largest indoor water parks, has already embarked on a major expansion, with completion expected in December. The number of all-suite guest rooms will increase from 402 to 605. Mesa, Arizona
